The Village of Wauzeka is located in the Town of Wauzeka amidst the midwest Driftless Area. Positioned near the confluence of the Kickapoo and Wisconsin Rivers, Wauzeka is surrounded by rising bluffs from deeply carved river valleys and gently rolling farmland, spotted with dairy farms and wetlands.

Wauzeka is encompassed by serene country living; yet it is only an hour and a half drive from three major communities: LaCrosse to the north, Madison to the east, and Dubuque, IA to the south.

We are a quiet, walk-able community with many comforts. Our village offers a lovely riverside park for picnics, basketball, and tennis. The Village Park hosts concerts throughout the summer, plenty of baseball and softball, and a playground for younger children to enjoy. The Wauzeka-Steuben Public School is conveniently located near the center of the community. Children are able to safely walk to and from school. We also have 3 local churches and 24 local businesses including the Wauzeka Post Office, People's State Bank, Stuckey's Market, and L & M's BP Station (see our "Businesses" section for other local businesses). Everyone is friendly and newcomers are always welcome. Please stop by and visit our beautiful, pristine village.
